  • Our gloriously un-sweet Caramel we make from scratch. BOILING UP condensed milk and brown sugar in our kitchen until it is spot on.
  • For Golden Syrup, there is only one proper choice — the one in the TRADITIONAL green and gold tin from Tate & Lyle.
  • And, for unmistakable flavour, always HAND-PEELED fresh Garlic.
  • Our eggs — FREE RANGE of course, to Freedom Foods standards — are laid by chickens who live only three miles away from us!
  • While for our savoury tarts we use only CREAM of course, and fine cheeses such as Cropwell Bishop Stilton and Mature Cheddar from Parkham Farm in North Devon.
